'Muhammad Ali meant everything to me', says Nicola Adams
Nicola Adams would never have taken up boxing had it not been for watching videos as a young child of Muhammad Ali. Now, Great Britain’s Olympic and world flyweight champion is planning to unleash some poems of her own at the Rio Olympics in August in honour of ‘The Greatest’.
As the world paused to witness events in Louisville, Kentucky, as Ali’s body was laid to rest, 33-year-old Adams said that he had always been “an inspiration” to her.
