NEPAD partners Internet of Things Forum Africa 2018
The New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD), an economic development program of the African Union, has thrown its weight behind Internet of Things Forum Africa (#IOTFA), slated for the 14th and 15th of March 2018 at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Under the theme, “Powering a new era of operational transformation,” IOTFA 2018event will showcase the leading developments in IoT with an array of 30+ expert speakers.
IOTFA 2018 will offer a platform for organisations to present their IoT solutions and brings together ecosystem-wide attendees, stakeholders and investors. Internet of Things Forum Africawill also provide a unique opportunity to meet key players within the IoT marketplace.
About NEPAD
The NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency (NEPAD Agency) was established in 2010 as an outcome of the integration of NEPAD into AU structures and processes. The NEPAD Agency is the implementing agency of the African Union that advocates for NEPAD, facilitates and coordinates the development of NEPAD continent-wide programmes and projects, mobilises resources and engages the global community, regional economic communities and member states in the implementation of these programmes and projects. The NEPAD Agency replaced the NEPAD Secretariat which had coordinated the implementation of NEPAD programmes and projects since 2001.
